What's amazing is that the makeup made him look MUCH older than he actually was! He was born in 1938 so he was a young 28-30 when he he was on Batman. I always thought he was much older than that.

I heard that Bob Crane got an offer to do The Newlywed Game at the same time and had to choose one. And Robert Clary's best friend on the show was Werner Klemperer. In real life Klemperer was married to the actors in the show who played Axis Annie and the baroness who played the daughter of the the general where Lebeau and Carter break into his study to steal plans.

Wow I see actress Janice Rand there with King Tut. She played Captain Kirk's yeoman on the original Star Trek series. I remember Tut, he was pretty cool.

I didn't know about any of the issues with his makeup, but I did think that he played the part very well. I couldn't think of anyone else who could have done his part as great as he did

King Tut was a different kind of Villain. Victor Buono played the part with the perfect mix of pompousity, arrogance, and humor. His presence commanded every scene he appeared in.

I respect Lucy for standing up to those two lushes . I wasn’t a big fan of Dick and wife. I felt she was way too old to play Cleopatra. Cleopatra wasn’t 50. She was a teenager. Liz was an old woman by then. Same with Dick, too old to play the part. His voice is so annoying. But i am a fan of Lucy. She had every right to direct them . They may have been actors but they’re not comedian actors and Lucy was so yes she has every right to teach and direct those two lushes . Coz that’s what Dick and Liz were, nasty horrible alcoholics . And old has beens . Alcohol ages you and all that tanning gave Liz and Dick leather faces .
